Data Centers in the Great Lakes Fact Sheets

The Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service at the University of Virginia strengthens institutions and communities through nonpartisan research and serves as a trusted, objective partner to policymakers, public servants, nonprofit leaders, and communities across Virginia and beyond. In partnership with the Joyce Foundation, the Weldon Cooper Center completed a multi-year research initiative examining the landscape of data centers across the eight Great Lakes states and wanted to share report insights to a broader audience with easy-to-understand one pagers and graphics.

Highlights include:

• A set of 12 state and topic-based branded one pagers that make data more accessible through custom graphs, tables, and icons

• A matching set of social posts for LinkedIn and Instagram

• Custom state maps with accurate longitudinal & latitudinal data
